Cap Fréhel – Cap d’Erquy

These two capes have been labelled "Grands sites de France" since 2019: they are among the 15 exceptional French sites listed. Cap Fréhel’s rocky outcrop is well known by GR 34 hikers, fishermen and the ocean racing community (first leg of the Route de Rum yacht race). It draws the line between the Saint-Brieuc and Saint-Malo bays. A unique environment where pink sandstone, the ocean’s swell and sun rays blend together. From Cap Fréhel’s lighthouse (one of the farthest reaching in France: 80km), you can see Brittany’s eastern and western coastlines.
